TAX ACCOUNTANT - INVESTMENTS
Our client, an innovative and entrepreneurial investment company with corporate and back-office operations based in Hartford, CT, is seeking to hire an experienced Tax Accountant to be responsible for:

Tax compliance to including the preparation of workpapers for partnership, corporate and non-profit entities.

Preparation of monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns and annual personal property tax returns.
- Assisting with tax research and tax planning projects.
- Assisting with preparation of individual and trust income tax return workpapers.
Requirements:

BS in Accounting, CPA a plus.

Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting, preferably in a tax department environment.
- Knowledge in all areas of taxation, with particular emphasis on partnership taxation.
- Familiar with multi-state tax issues and apportionment.

Strong proficiency required in MS Excel and related programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate must be able to work for any employer in U.S.
