TAX MANAGER - PUBLIC (REAL ESTATE)
One of the largest regional Certified Public Accounting (CPA) and business advisory services firms in the Hartford and Springfield areas.
Tax Manager’s responsibilities:
- Conducting research and providing tax planning / tax consulting.
- Structuring advice to businesses in the real estate industry, as well as managing.
- Supervising the tax compliance work for multiple real estate client groups.
- Interact directly with our business and related individual clients on a regular basis
- Develop and coach other members of our tax group through your leadership role and through your active participation in the Learning and Development programs
- Grow and develop your own career with the support of the partners, as well as through your regular participation in internal and external Continuing Professional Education programs and conferences.
- A great work life quality environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a Master’s of Science in Taxation (MST)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred over Enrolled Agent
- Strong communication, leadership and project management skills
- Seven (7) or more years of related work experience, including two (2) years of managing assignments and people, in a Big 4, national, regional or large local public accounting firm or private industry
- Experience with CCH ProFx tax preparation software a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Candidate must be able to work for any employer in U.S.
