- Responsible for performing strategic risk assessments and interfacing with business unit CIO’s and their direct reports.
- Manage audits to ensure timely completion.
- Alert the directors of potential major audit findings.
- Publish clear and concise audit reports.
- Develop annual audit plans based on risk assessment covering the information systems areas.
- Issue monthly activity reports pursuant to measurement and other reporting criteria established for the audit function.
- Maintain a highly competent and professional audit staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (will consider other relevant majors/concentrations).
- CIA or CISAIMBA is strongly preferred.
- Eight to fourteen years of progressively responsible experience with big 4 or regional public accounting firms, internal audit or government accounting with exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in IT, IS audit, Sarbanes Oxley, IS controls, JOE, SAP or IT security is required.
- Depending on the position, domestic and/or international travel may take up 30-40% of work time, and so applicants must be willing to commit to this travel schedule. Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese and German language skills are an advantage to applicants.
