Responsibilites

• Planning, coordinating and directing various aspects of tax compliance, tax accounting, tax research and audit support.
• Tax provisioning and planning.
• Supervise compliance with all federal, state and local tax regulations and controversy management while working to minimize the Company's tax liability and maximize after-tax profits
• Compensation $100K to $120K /yr depending on experience.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related field is required.
• A Masters degree or professional certification in accounting, finance, business administration or related field or the equivalent is highly desirable.
• Corporate and public accounting work.
• Experience with regulated industry taxes.
• Tax provisioning experience.
• Mainframe computer systems a plus.
• Implementing a new computerized accounting system a plus.
• A minimum of ten years related experience is required with at least 4 of those years in a Big Four or large regional Accounting firm preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with regulated utility income taxes preferred.
• Project management skills a definite plus.
• Able to work for any employer in the U.S.
